We may be a small school but we have big ideas for education that will give our students the skills they require to become lifelong learners. We are surrounded by beautiful bush with a large grassed area, play equipment, all-purpose court and sand pit. Jannali Public School is part of the proud tradition of Public Education.
Our dedicated teaching, office and support staff work together to provide high quality programs that cater for the individual learning needs of our students. We aim to create a learning environment that reflects the needs and aspirations of students and is educating the whole child as a 21st Century learner. We provide opportunities for students to become responsible and independent decision makers and problem solvers. We cater for the needs of all students – academically, socially, culturally and physically.
Our school places a strong emphasis on numeracy and literacy. We have effective student welfare programs, quality technology programs, a respected tradition in competitive sport, a variety of cultural activities and strong community support and engagement. We also have high quality creative arts programs including a senior dance group, junior dance group, boys dance group, Kinder hip-hop groups, skipping, recorder and choirs.
The high level of professionalism, dedication and commitment by staff members, combined with the strong support and co-operation of our parents, ensures that all students are provided with opportunities to maximise their potential and achieve in a stimulating, safe and caring environment. Our professional goals are based on high expectations and the belief that everyone can learn as we all strive to be the best we can be.
All teachers at our school are operating with interactive whiteboards which have been installed in all classrooms and which have transformed both teaching and learning. Our teachers are at the cutting edge with technology and they share expertise with each other and a network of schools.
Our whole school community is supported by some fantastic programs and centres. Be Connected provide ongoing support with their volunteers at Breakfast Club. Jannali Before and After School Care is a P&C run centre that provides not only before and after school care but also vacation care for our parents. We also have a strong link with members of the community who kindly volunteer their time for our Hope student mentor program.
